BIO

Josue Guerrero is a highly acclaimed Dominican-American actor with a rich and diverse career in film, theater, and television. Born in Santo Domingo, Josue discovered his passion for acting at an early age and honed his skills through dedicated study and practice. He now lives and works in Los Angeles.

 

Josue's outstanding portrayal in the play "Venus in Fur" earned him the prestigious Soberano Award for Best Theatrical Actor.  The Soberano awards provide an overview of the best in the Dominican entertainment industry and comparable to the Emmys and Oscars.  Additionally, he has been nominated for multiple LA SILLA film awards, highlighting his exceptional contributions to the world of cinema. La Silla Awards (premios La Silla) are the awards granted by the Associación Dominicana de Profesionales de la Industria del Cine (ADOCINE).

 

 

Josue's recent film credits include notable works such as "En tu Piel" (7:20 Once a Week), "La Barberia," "Sol en el Agua," and "La Broma de la Justicia." These performances showcase his ability to embody diverse characters and deliver compelling portrayals.

 

 

Josue studied drama at the prestigious Escuela Nacional de Arte Dramático de Bellas Artes (ENAD), where he refined his craft and developed a deep understanding of theatrical techniques. His dedication to his craft led him to become a part of the esteemed National Theater Company of Santo Domingo, where he showcased his exceptional talent on stage.
